A hit and run accident can be traumatic and cause significant damage. If you are involved in a hit and run accident what should you do?

If the car is occupied, make sure everyone is unharmed. Even if everyone seems fine, it is still a good idea to be checked by a medical professional, to be safe. This is particularly true if there are children involved. If there are no immediate issues that require an ambulance, it’s time to make sure the police are on their way.
